Event Submission & Approval Policy

When submitting an event to our calendar, we strive to maintain a positive, inclusive, and family-friendly community. By submitting an event, you agree to adhere to the following guidelines:

  1. Appropriate Content: All events must be appropriate for a general audience. Content that contains or promotes any of the following will not be tolerated and will result in the denial of your event submission:

    •Sexual content or nudity

    •Explicit language or profanity

    •Discriminatory or hateful speech, including but not limited to racism, sexism, homophobia, and other forms of bigotry

    •Violence or threats of violence

    •Illegal activities or content that encourages illegal actions

  2. Respectful Behavior: We do not permit events that promote harassment, abuse, or any harmful behavior. Events that violate the rights of others, including defamation or invasion of privacy, will not be posted.

  3. Pending Review: Upon submission, your event will automatically be placed in a pending review status. Please allow 24-48 hours for the review of your submission. We reserve the right to deny any event submission that does not meet these guidelines or is deemed inappropriate. Once your event has been reviewed and approved, you will receive a notification of its status.

  4. Right of Refusal: Explore South Orange County reserves the right to refuse or remove any event submission at its discretion. If an event is denied, you will not receive a detailed explanation, but you are welcome to contact us for clarification or resubmit with adjustments to meet the guidelines.

By submitting an event, you agree to these terms and understand that violating these guidelines may result in your submission being rejected.
