Tchaikovsky’s Piano Concerto No. 1

From Appalachia to Russia! Tchaikovsky’s Piano Concerto No. 1 comes to life as pianist Aristo Sham brings commanding technique and expressive power to one of the repertoire’s most beloved works. Under the direction of Joana Carneiro, the program also features Copland’s Suite from Appalachian Spring, music that radiates warmth, openness, and the optimism of the American spirit. Together, these iconic works create a richly rewarding concert of virtuosity and lyricism.
